About Us

Chef's Alibi was founded by Tara Schmidt in 2003 when she decided to bring her passion for cooking to those around her. Tara specializes in using the freshest ingredients and amazing techniques to create home cooked meals that are delicious, healthful and oh so satisfying. 

As a private chef, Tara may be hired for personal daily needs, to cater parties and events or for drop off deliveries. We may provide walk around service with appetizers to your guests, we may facilitate a "buffet style" dinner party or depending on the size of the event, we may provide seated table service.
